This is a vintage handbag dating back to the 1950s. It is a structured handheld bag with 2 rope handles. These have tubes of white vinyl on to protect the rope.
The front of the bag is covered with white and coloured raffia in a zig zag design. The colours are really vibrant in orange, blue, red, pink and green. The back and sides are covered in a tight weave white raffia. It fastens by a piece of white vinyl that folds over the top and has a twisty clasp to open. Inside there is a material white lining.
It is in fantastic condition, very little wear, it looks hardly used.
It measures 14" long, 3" deep and 17" tall including the handle.
